OK, here's another question for you to ponder. Given an ideal living situation (i.e., you're able to provide support, etc.) would you rather

A) raise, single-parent, a natural child of your own, bred with someone else

or

B) raise, single-parent, an exact clone of yourself?

I expect this one to go about 95% in one direction and 5% in the other, but I'm very interested to see who's in that 5%...with me. The way I look at it, it's another chance to get me right, and I sure as hell think I'd benefit from one.

I posit that the choices are not different. A biological replica guarantees few, if any, behavioral similarities.

Also, if we know what is necessary to get ourselves "right", we're well advised to take advantage of the time we have. Or that's what I say when I've got my fingers in my ears and the voices speak to the Cubby.

So I'd take the "bred with someone else option" if for no other reason than coitus is required.

Now, for a fun side-winder, wouldn't it be amusing if you could produce a clone by auto-eroticism?

Think how many Hobies there would be.

Best,

Eh. We'd use them for parts.

You think we've got a population problem now.

The rise of the Internet and a population explosion would have gone hand-in-hand (so to speak).
