Today was Columbus Day in the US, which didn't mean a hell of a lot to me. What proved interesting is that, through various online channels, I've picked up a number of Canadian friends over the past year, and today was their Thanksgiving. One more omnibus Happy Thanksgiving to them.
I've wondered, occasionally, if I should write things like the above the night before an event so they'll be read on the day, or if instead I should do as I did, write about it after the day's event is over. Not a huge point to debate, but something I ponder.
I did the training for my new job-I'll-hate. It should be…deadly dull. Upside, I don't work at all tomorrow.
OK, who had CBS's "Danny" in the "first-to-be-cancelled" pool?
Speaking of not working tomorrow, maybe I'll actually put together, in advance, the rant I've been threatening for the past few days. Or maybe I'll just buy the "Godfather" DVDs and not do anything else for the rest of the week. Time will tell.
Today's Link Of The Day features me trying to be wildly experimental.
Roy Batty, as I'm sure you know, was Rutger Hauer's character in "Blade Runner".
